Those kind of fly under my RADAR since they're quiet.

Really, though, I've never looked at a bunch of leaves and thought to myself, "I'd really prefer those be about 6' over that way." Seems weird.

Having to register for Selective Service by law.

If it's mandatory, why isn't it automatic?

My dogs

The only thing they're good for is cleaning up the mess my child makes when he eats.

What's the end goal though? Are people just afraid the leaves will kill their grass?

I guess that's understandable, but I also think it's a question of time allocation. When it rains, I can tell that about 80% of cars don't have a proper coating of wax, and yet I see people running blowers just about every day but almost never see anyone waxing a car.

Do these people really think it's easier to paint a car than it is to grow grass? Or, more likely, is their thought process something like, "you know, I really need to wax my car, but it's just so much mindless fun waving around this bleating hell-stick instead"?

Very effective for getting a few leaves off my patio before football parties.

I flew in a plane last month that still had ashtrays on the seat. It kind of freaked me out because made me think how fricking old is this airplane?

The plane is possibly not as old as you think. It may have been previously owned by an airline from another country. Or, you're right, it is old AF.

On the airplane and float front, has anyone ever had to actually use the floating devices on a plane? I always thought those were useless. If you hit the ground you’re chance of living is close to 0. And if you hit the ocean, they obviously are t going to find you like the Malaysia flight.

This post is stupidly entertaining to a drunk me.

I need to paint my house but it is certainly easier to blow my leaves 6’ over there. The house can wait.

For real though, I have a 80’ driveway and probably 3,000 sq ft of decking around my pool and back patio with at Augustine growing all around it. After I mow, I’m not sweeping that up. I’ll move it with the hell stick.
