Useless things you wonder why are still around

Flying to Miami Tuesday wondering why the hell airplane seats still recline. You get almost no addition comfort and it jams the tray table up against the person behind you. Completely useless.
Another is daylight savings time. Why are we still doing that?

I mean they're dinosaurs .... it's just a matter of time before they realize the nuclear winter they're living in that was caused by the streaming podcast etc tech impact is not going away.
Was recently told they are must have though and will soon be receiving government aid because they are vital to our emergency broadcasting system. Superstations powering up and hardened against emp will still be needed if the shtf.
