I'm surprised posters are puzzled by your abundance of knobs. Getting rid of the cheap fake brass builder grade knobs is a good way to spruce up a house. If its a decent sized place then you can end up with a 5 gallon bucket full of them. Unfortunately I'm not sure Habitat would want them though if they are in the shape that builder grade gets after a decade.

Id probably just stick them by street the day after trash day and let some scrapper take them for the metal.

Trotline weights. The answer to useless chit is always, "trotline weights."

Is there a Planned parenthood nearby? They can send them over to their locations with those newer laws. Same concept as the kittens, just upped their ante.

Mount on a board. Makes a great coat and hat rack

Turn them into a way to hang things. Hope I’m making sense. I’ve seen some for $$$ mounted on a plank of wood, maybe 3 ft long, some plain edged some cut differently. Attach the knobs across the board and voila, you have turned your trash into treasure. Depending on the type and age of door knobs you have, the hang up thingy can really be neat.
