Use of "Smart Drug" increasing in US

My wife takes that and it works as advertised.
However without being diagnosed as Narcoleptic it is nearly impossible to get. Without insurance it is around 800 per prescription.

Never heard of Modafinil, I do take one of my girlfriend's adderall every once in awhile if I have a lot of work to get done in a short time and that is always a god send. I wonder if it has any of the same effects of adderrall? If it just makes you a tad bit more creative than it doesn't even seem like it would be worth it if it can't extend the amount of hours you work.

Wow, that's a lot of people taking it already. It may solve the adderall leading to poor sleep problems that a lot of people have.

I can deal with the sleep issues, but unless Modafinil makes dipping as awesome as adderall does, then I don't want it.

I use to take it (Provigil), I think it ran about $420 at Walgreens. After a few months it started to destroy my stomach. I definitely felt more alert, which I guess could translate into feeling smarter.
Did it actually make me smarter? My spelling and grammatical errors on TD probably answer that.

Most insurances will only pay for it if you are diagnosed with something like MS where you need the drug.

Adderall is completely different than Modafinil. This drug is supposed to exhibit nearly 0 side effects. It is not a stimiulant and is said to be used by major CEO's and the like for its incredible ability to increase your cognitive processes without any sort of crash.
It is similar to Prvovigil/Nuvigil. These were called "fighter pilots" since jet pilots take them in order to operate and function for such long periods of time in the air and on the ground.

You can get a peptide that is a precursor to it(converts to modafinil in the body) for dirt cheap.

Well when insurance covers it and she pays $7 a month for it, we will take the full version instead
