Until The racist Chinese change their racist language to consider the needs of courageous black Americans struggling with billions of years of systemic racism, there will be no peace ! That said, digging me some Communism. That's the answer fo reelz.

I like watching the food ranger on YouTube, and he actually says that term a bunch in his videos

Not really surprised at how it's been misinterpreted here, though. I'd kinda been wondering if anyone did take offense to it

This is utter insanity, I thought the left was supposed to be super tolerant of other cultures and so forth. How can you criticize/fire someone for using a word in their language just because it sounds like another word in English. This is small-minded, ignorant shite. He should tell them to go “Phuc” themselves.

So, if I follow correctly, students voluntarily enrolled in a foreign language class are upset that a word in said foreign language sounds like something offensive in another language?

Wow.

That seems like the gist of it. Even if they didn’t sign up for it though, if the dude is just speaking a language, he should not be able to be criticized for that. That language has been around way longer than the “n word”

If you know anything about Mandarin speakers, they say “naiga” every other word. It’s used the same way we use “um” or “uh”. It’s just a sound you make between words or when thinking.

Its going to be like the Feench Revolution where the woke left eventually eats its own. Hopefully we get there soon, and without the bloodshed.

Meh. I have Chinese coworkers who like me fine.

But yeah, I hear them say that word a lot...

I generally think this is pretty stupid, and I don't think words should be off-limits to one race but not another, but that guy's a dumbass for actually saying the words in class

For saying the most common word/phrase in Mandarin in a language course? Get the frick out of here with that bullshite. If you hear a word that sounds somewhat similar to a word in English and you get outraged, get your stupid thin skinned arse back to your parent’s basement. I never made the connection between this phrase and the N-Bomb until mouth breathers on this site said that Chinese were racist towards them.

It was not a class in the Chinese language, nor was there any particular reason the professor had to use Chinese as his example. That's why I called him a dumbass.

Should he be reprehended for saying “negro” if someone asks him what black is in Spanish?
