The US Soccer federation pays their salaries and now they want to ... protest the flag?
They will never put their money where their mouth is. US soccer has been damn good to them and they know it. Not playing would be lost revenue. Obviously how much they care about BLM or any other such bullshite isn’t worth losing one game’s salary.

If they really want to make a statement they should quit the team en masse. But that would sacrifice money and prestige. Krystal Ball was willing to do that to stand on principle but she's a rarity.

I don’t care if they play the anthem at NFL games or club matches but international is different. You are literally wearing the colors and representing the country. Very disingenuous to pretend they don’t know the difference.
