Or maybe if you don't want to represent our country, flag, or anthem on a global stage with respect, just don't be on the team anymore. That would be a more courageous protest, right Megan? Are you really protesting injustice if you're still profiting from it?

It never bothered me when Kap kneeled and I wouldn't say this bothers me either. I just don't understand how you can kneel for the anthem as a sign of protest but wear the flag on your jersey and literally represent the country for the next 90 minutes.

I agree in regards to domestic leagues, but this is the US National team that only plays international competitions representing the USA.
Anthems of both countries are played prior to a match.
