Bull shite. As soon as tax cuts were enacted and regulations rolled back tax receipts reached record high, but so did spending.

Borrowing is just irresponsible. So is all of these power hungry governors not opening their states

There isn’t a fiscally conservative politician in Washington.

Maybe Rand Paul.

Who do you borrow $3 trillion dollars from? Taxpayers? Our great grandchildren?

Then why are they only protesting state governments? We are talking about a federal deficit.

Wait, are we borrowing it or printing it out of thin air?

Because if we had opened the economy back up there may not have been a need to borrow $3 trillion this quarter.

It's hard for me to believe that it was just 2 decades ago that we ran a budget surplus. Seems like an idea from Mars.

Would be wild times if a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution has somehow passed back when that was a thing.

The world economy is smoke & mirrors. We borrow $100B from China & grant $50M in aide to some remote China village. Does that make any sense? We continue to dish out billions in foreign aide. Does that make any sense? We could zero out the national debt of every country on the planet & all would arise & go to work tomorrow (in normal times). All would get paid at the end of the week & have a cold one at the local watering hole on Friday night. The national debt is the least of my concerns. Smoke & mirrors !
