We've been at cyber war with Russia for 20 years.
No actual shots will be fired but you might see data leaks connecting Russia Gov't and Business leaders in illegal activity. The US will then seize whatever assets they can from those Russians.
You'll probably hear about an internet outage at some point as well. Expect this news in the coming months

The article is talking about two separate attacks. One from Russia that happened in 2020 against SolarWinds and one from China more recently against Microsoft.
You should read an article before you come to post it here and complain about the wrong things.
