I was speaking to the larger economic environment
I mean, we pushed trillions into the economy at full employment, all that money ends up parked as wealth.
The larger environment is that government has fricked up the economy and turned it into a wealth economy and those living in the wage economy are fricked until we have a recession or depression.
Without pushing more debt or having a recession, most people will not be able to afford houses

God I'd love you to post your picture on here. I know exactly what you look like (fat), what you sound like (hick), and your economic position (poor) in this country. Real life beats you down so badly, constantly getting ignored by more successful, better looking people (like me), that you feel the need to compensate on anonymous message boards. Sad, sad little man.

having a recession
Tariffs, unemployment, an incompetent federal bureaucracy, alienation from traditional allies and trading partners, as well as an imminent Chinese attack on Taiwan...yeah, pretty sure a recession will be a wet dream compared to what's coming down the pike.

Weird you notice things now that have been occurring for decades.
What should the unemployment rate be? The "full employment" number is 5% unemployment.

Pour one out for your Realtor friends.

I’m looking to sell in about a year and a half. How will we look then?
I don’t think President Trump is going to sit around and wait on things to improve on their own.

Damn, who creampied in your coffee this morning?

Prices are too high. This is hopefully a correction. It’s not a bad thing.

0/4.
I may not be the most handsome man here, I’ll admit that. But, I am no where near fat (this is hilarious). I can guarantee I am better off financially than you were at the same age, easily. And the hick comment is also a joke. I grew up in Baton Rouge, but have lived in Houston for nearly 2 decades. I can’t even fake a country accent at this point. 0/4.
i’m glad to know you’re sooo insecure that all it took was a simple gif to set you off. leading you to feel the need to take a personal swipe at me, when everyone on this website knows who you are. a progressive old pervert who’s hobbies include: daydreaming about his own daughter getting creampied and doing a really poor job pretending to be a Moderate on TD.

hell no.
1) you’re a Leftist, you’d likely doxx me and my family
2) you’re a pervert, no telling what you’d do with my picture.

Ehh...my SIL is a realtor, and she's closed like 4-5 homes in the last 2 months.

That indicates a SELLERS market. You are the SELLER. Your window is NOW.
It is not a seller's market at all. I've had my house listed for over a year and it's been mostly bargain hunters, entry level investors, and first-time buyers that have no idea that buying a house includes negotiation. I'm hoping that will change soon with the weather warming up, got several showings this weekend at least.

You're not a dumb dude, Roger (regardless of how much shite we've exchanged over the years). I think you know we are NOT in a good spot at the moment.
Trump is gonna fix it all, haven't you heard?

If your house has been sitting on the market for over a year then it's overpriced.

No, it certainly isn't. Priced very comparably to other listings in the area. If that's all you could come up with then you truly don't have a clue on this market.
