Its been sub $3 at costco BR but that place is a shite show
I feel like I’m taking crazy pills with Gas prices in BR right now. I passed a Murphy express by Womens hospital that was $3.14 Saturday but every other place I feel like has been stuck in the $3.70 range for weeks. It honestly seems like there’s a pact between 90% of gas stations to just not drop their price. We regularly have some of the cheapest in the country, and $3.70 doesn’t seem to reflect where we’re at nationally.

It will benefit Biden and his party.

US consumers took out over $40 billion in credit for July thanks to rising gas, electricity, food, and supply chain inflation.

I'm sorry. If you people can't see this is YUGE news, then I don't know what to tell you.
Ya'll can't give this administration that admirably appointed zero people with any real energy industry experience into a leadership position ANY credit for declining gasoline prices.

I'll give credit where credit is due and that credit is due to the Chinese because their demand has fallen off a cliff.

After a huge spike gas prices crashed too in 2008 after the recession took hold.

Balderdash. OML reported several times we are going to be in the 6-8.00 range by late summer. I trust him and not some MSM article.

This administration the reason why our current economic status is in a recession, borders are open, and fuel is as high in price as it currently is (amongst many other things). They get zero credit until they bring our country where it was before their ignorance reigned.

I appreciate how this is getting downvoted

Either:
1- The vast majority don't want gasoline prices going under $4/gallon.
2- They don't appreciate my enthusiastic sarcasm. Gives me the sads.

Damn. Looks like our bonuses are only going to be 350% of target instead of 400%.

And to think, right before elections.
And how many people still think the government doesn’t solely control inflation
I wonder if that is still even taught in economics class?

Maintenance outages start next month for refineries across the US. This will be a temporary drop, and then rise in Q3-Q4. Hurricane season isn’t over, either.
Until offshore drilling is allowed to go full steam ahead, prices will be elevated and price shocks will occur.
