There’s a reason it’s located in the north east.

Yes, nothing West of the Appalachians was ours. There were only 13 colonies. They kind of picked the mid atlantic not far from George Washingtons home, since he was the one who chose it.

Kansas City and Omaha would be excellent choices.

It would be easy to find your way around the capital. “Up da levee by da grain elevators. Or down da levee by Dupont.” I’m good.

It's noteworthy that Brazil built capitol Brasilia from scratch in the middle of nowhere.

The United States also built their capital from scratch in the middle of nowhere.

Memphis, just to make the pyramid the capitol.

I never thought of this before, but that’s perfect.

I lived in Emporia when I was in 7th and 8th grade. Former UNC head coach Dean Smith is from Emporia.

It's objectively a beautiful city with a lot of opportunities available. I know I won't convince you otherwise, and I don't care to.

There's a weird contingent of Americans from BFE who like to shite on DC (and other major American cities for that matter). We live in the best country on earth and DC is our capital, deal with it.

If I had to move it, maybe Denver? For no other reason except for the mountain backdrop.

Houston isn’t BFE and many could make a case for Houston being more of a recognizable place across the world than DC. It’s definitely more relevant. It’s a lot of things but BFE ain’t one of them

DC used to be more of a symbol for the US but it’s become more of a symbol of a broken system and many Americans are fed up with the machine.

Did I say anything about Houston? Your handle says "Southeast Texas". You're probably in one of those BFE suburbs an hour away and still claim you're in Houston, anyway.

Kansas City

I never understood why you would have your capital close to the coast where it is vulnerable to an attack. Move it to the middle of the country where it is safer and travel to each coast is shorter.

Last I checked Houston is in the southeastern part of Texas. Stalking profiles is cute pal. Damn did you lose your virginity in DC or something? Defending it so hard.
