I’ve never seen this before. I thought it was pretty interesting.

Only plane flying was air force 1.

It's insane how fast they all landed. Just over 2 hours judging by your post.

Some of the guys with the company I worked for had to rent cars to drive from where they were to their base town. I was lucky enough to be in the office at the time and remember watching it on TV,

Its crazy how quickly they got everyone to land, and with the amount of planes up, I am sure everyone was having a stroke on all the more possible planes that could be or was hijacked at that time

Yep. Same here. I was lucky and wasn’t traveling that day, but I know people who had to travel by land from Catalina Island, CA and Bar Harbor, ME back to Mobile.

I had my pilot fly at 300 feet and turn off the IFF to avoid detection until we got back to BTR.

And look how many planes were flying less than a week later. frick those suicidal assholes.

Besides Air Force one, there was only one other plane allowed to fly.
It was a medical plane the was taking antivenom to a guy down in Florida that was Brien by a rare exotic snake. It was escorted by fighters the whole way though.

A girl I know was a pilot for Fed Ex and she was ordered to land at some runway in BFE North Dakota. Around the runway there was just a small village with a few dozen houses and one f as station/convenience store. Her and her Co pilot were put up and fed by the local townspeople.

We lived on a flight path into IAH. So planes were the norm. It was surreal not having them fly over.

Kind of scary to think of when you fly!!!
