The school bus stop sign and lights are on the left side of the bus, brainiacs.

Yea so thats what I meant by "appears", but apparently that part was missed.

It may be on the other side only, but I didn't see any flashing lights, which is another reason I asked because the lights are on both sides, front and back..... brainiac

2. If she has car mom should pick kids up at school instead of waiting at school bus stop.

Looks like the video is from the across the street neighbor's doorbell cam. You can see the mom running from the yard in from of the black suv.

The school bus does not look like it is stopped to let kids off. I don't see lights or the arm.

Use FedEx next time.

I was just going to post this is unusual for UPS. FedEx are the ones that fly through the neighborhoods. Then full Sprint to your porch with your package like a Dominos driver from the late 80's

The sign is on the driver's side. So you can't see it. Back in the day you had to manually flip it out. Not sure if that is still the case. Also when I was a kid we were told to wait til the bus leaves before crossing the street and not to run in front of the bus to prevent this exact scenario. We were actually taught how to ride a bus / walkers were taught basic traffic rules like when to cross a street. Not sure if kids these days get that education in school. It isn't much but kids sometimes need to be taught things.

Still shiddy on the UPS driver. Also not sure if you guys have been paying attention but all delivery drivers are understaffed. Excess quotas have made them drive like maniacs.

No surprise this whole country can't drive worth a shite when 80% were taught how to drive by their PE coach at 7am

Whining customers( that I see here) want "timely deliveries" & there's pressure to deliver on time from Employers. I'd rather be fired & safe instead of killing someone or myself rushing deliveries , however.

This is what I said, plus it looks to be pulled over to the curb tight. The sign we wouldn't see, but I don't see any lights flashing.

Just from what I see, it could be mistaken for a parked bus.

So I just rewatched, and I do think I see the lights on top of the front of the bus flashing. Really hard to tell. Assuming the lights on the back are working, then the driver is at fault here.

No way he didn't see it, so I'm going to assume he was distracted in some way.

I also don't understand why the bus is so close to the curb. If you are letting kids out, be in the middle of the neighborhood road.

No chance. He could get fired but will get back pay once the driver gets the job back.

Blame management for everything else.

He’s definitely gonna be fired. I don’t work for UPS but I’m very familiar with the safety training they gave to go through. This will not end well for that driver

I would reinforce to my kids the importance of always looking both ways before crossing the street, even in situations where drivers are legally required to stop.

People are stupid.

Just the other day the UPS guy actually ran up to my door with a package.

Was rather surprised. They generally don't waste any time but the first I saw one moving at a fast jog.

Why was the bus pulled so far over? They are supposed to stay in the lane to block traffic. There's no way that's a 4 lane road, unless the UPS driver got into the oncoming lane to pass. If that's the case the UPS driver is an idiot.
