Prayers to the officers family and the SPD. Tim Fletcher just gave a great tribute to the guy, apparently he worked with him at Channel 3 in Shreveport for a while. Was a transplant here from South Louisiana, not sure where exactly. LSP flew his family up here last night....sad situation.

It hasn't been officially released, I will wait until it is before posting. Tim Fletcher, a local sports show host and former KTBS 3 Sports Director, was notified and he released the name. Apparently the officer worked with Tim and actually rented an apartment from him. Prayers for his family

Every citizen should be on edge, but more because there is too much evil in this world and citizens that have no respect for authority or their fellow citizens than anything else. It is easier now than ever to create an environment of fear and distrust of police, military, government, individuals, etc...life is too precious, people need to have more respect for one another.
