Yeah. This guy should have been out walking around.
Court records show Cannon has an extensive arrest record dating to 2004 with convictions for possession of stolen things, burglary, possession of marijuana, flight from an officer, misdemeanor battery, trespassing, resisting an officer and felony theft. Cannon dropped out of school after the 8th grade.
Cannon has spent most of his life in that neighborhood and family members still live there.

It is surprising how many young men and women never leave these neighborhoods. A charitable org my mother works for has community outreach houses in all the bad neighborhoods in S'port which have been posted. Most of the kids have never left the 6 block radius they grow up in. Its crazy.

I'm curious to know the details. Finding him at a house doesn't tell us much. Could have been hiding in a vacant, could have went to someone's house and called to turn himself in, could have been hiding out at someone's house and was dimed out by whoever's house it was.
Bad news if the cops tracked him to someone's house and they were harboring. If that was the case, they will catch a stretch themselves.

If Obama had a son....
So, Shreveport should gird themselves for looting and rioting for the foreseeable future? This will be the lead story on the national news for weeks? Isn't that what usually takes place following these type of encounters where someone ends up being killed?
The double standard that exists today is unbelievable.

Well this TPOS cannot die soon enough.
Waiting for the family to say the officer was being too aggressive....

You look at that picture and think "This is the expression of someone who knows they will never again see the outside of a prison."
I can't fathom that.

Yep. 29 years old. Trial, Death Row, chair. Hell, the way our society is trending, we will probably see the death penalty undone before he's ready to be strapped in. This dude is going from that van, to jail, to trial and then to Angola for 50 years. Bad day.

I graduated High School with Thomas... By far one of the nicest and kindest dudes in our class. I hope this bastard rots in hell for what he did.
And I can guarantee you that Thomas was not doing anything that justifies this.
