Salamoni will be fired because he cursed and pointed his gun at a methed out felon. That will be all the excuse they need. His lawyers will have a field day though. Because you know there are hundreds of incidents of that behavior throughout the last couple years of BRPD most likely and I'm sure none of those officers were fired for it.

Alton Sterling was wrong when he left the house as a convicted felon carrying a gun.

he wasn't on any "benzos" ( benzodiazepine , ex. Xanax), he tested positive for Benzoylecgonine which is a metabolite of cocaine.

I wish I could go back to the old threads when people were swearing up and down that poor Alton just had a few puffs of weed in his system from days earlier and was completely sober.

Yup. The only law enforcement that failed were those responsible for keeping him in jail.

Also, the only moments when Alton showed any compliance was when Blaine was being that forceful. It was deescilating after those words. Then Blaine backs away and Alton starts to fight again. And remember that Alton was fighting BEFORE Blaine ever showed up.

Is that what she said? I didn't hear that, but I did hear her say that what the feds told her about what happened was "disturbing." I can almost guarantee that she's referencing them saying "pointed a gun at his head" (which many assumed meant "put a gun to his head") and the officer saying "I will f'ing kill you!." This is good enough for her to think that he should be fired
.

From what I have heard it is that "the _ word" was used

That excuse has been used hundreds of times in the last decade or so with public cases like this, usually anytime a person of color gets in a bind.

It’s the equivalent of a get out of jail free card.
