Updated in OP: Rumors of Louisiana School Boards Getting Pushed to Open Schools Back

Guess parents can’t handle Brayldelynn, Jaxxxson, and Talyssa at home so they are pushing the school boards to open schools. No link. Anyone hearing a similar song? Don’t shoot the messenger. This is just what’s been told to me.

As a teacher, I think almost 5 months is a long time for students to be home. I miss and love teaching. Most of my 5th graders are really good kids with terrible parents.
One of my favorite things about my job is being a role model/ someone my students can count on if they don’t have the best parents at home.

If they’re shutting down lunch pickup by car because cafeteria workers don’t have sufficient protection, they sure as hell aren’t about to open schools.

I couldn't imagine continuing to spit out children that I couldn't afford to feed lunch for a month.
