Interested in buying a higher end watch but don’t want to spend $5000 on an Omega or a Breitling or more for a Rolex.
Are the movements reliable and durable? Any negatives to the watch?
ETA UPDATE: just purchased this watch.
Can’t wait to get it. I’ll post pics when it’s in.

I believe it's an old wooden ship from the Civil War Era

Have one right now and wanted an upgrade. I want something with not chronograph or clutter on the face. Every Seiko, including my own, has lots of extra dials and crap that I don’t need.

What do you want to know about it

The tag offers many similar features as other watches, it's main objective and positive feature is that it tells time.

A few, but comparatively to the others mentioned, it wont hold its value nearly as much, especially to a Rolex

Got a Tag in Mexico 15 years ago for a really good price. Keeps perfect time, looks brand new and it’s led a rough life.

Wearing mine now. White face.
Good, modest dress watch. Had it 15 years, works great. The faces I think have gotten bigger over the years and I prefer the smaller diameter of mine.
ETA:
I never wear my Rolex as it has gold on it and I am just not a gold fan outside of my very small wedding ring. The day I have enough disposable income to justify another nice watch, I'll get a Breitling I think.

Nice watches. Most enthusiasts seem to below they are nowhere near as good as they used to be.

Bastard! I thought that was you in front of me that got the last white face! Had to settle for blue.

I've been contemplating using some of my air miles on a Tag.

At least neither of us chose black face.

Never looked at them. I’ve always thought they were wannabe Rolex’s. I couls be wrong about that but the ones I’ve seen seem to try to look like Subs.

I got a citizen for Christmas and absolutely love it.

I have been quite disappointed in my "automatic" Tag. Keeps shitty time. Per Tag when called soon after purchase - "its within the auto wind standard deviation to lose or a gain up to 3 minutes per month." I have to send it to be cleaned at the factory every 3/4 years to get it to keep relatively close time. Also, take it off for the weekend, and Monday comes around I have to reset the time. Just my opinion. Would never buy an auto again.
ETA its an aquaracer
