Update: Still no comments from Tate on murdered LSU student

9/21/22 Update: still nothing from Tate or the official LSU Twitter account.
They do have a second update on hazing, and a HILARIOUS video about the cool dorm CRIBS competition.
9/19/22 Update: still nothing from Tate or the official LSU Twitter account.
They do have an update on hazing.
Nothing from LSU beyond a generic BS press release (that had spelling errors).
While I'm certainly not blaming him - it happened off campus and he's fairly new - he should be furious at the state of the city his students live in.
He should be calling out the city leadership and asking them to do their jobs.
Note: If he has made a comment and I missed it, I apologize. There is nothing on his Twitter account, or the official LSU twitter account. Zero mention of the incident at all.

Tate gains nothing politically by lashing out at the city officials. The risk is backlash from LSU students, parents, and alumni. So people need to make an uproar about this that comes in the form of bad publicity or less donations. Speak up and be loud

Exactly. I am a parent of an LSU student. It would be great to see the president be aggressive and bold and at least TRY to accomplish something.
He has a bully pulpit and he should use it.

City officials have no authority or control over Tate. He has no reason to treat them with any kind of reverence.
His only duty is to his students.

That is scary and really bad no matter what the facts are. Then you had the "attempted kidnappings" which apparently weren't, but obviously something bad took place with some creep working for a food delivery service.

It's hilarious to ever see a leftist say "waiting on some facts." This only happens in instances where we actually have enough facts to draw conclusions already, and is never said in situations where it is beneficial to their worldview.

Yea, there really are no "facts" that could change anything Tate would say.
