Unfortunate and inexcusable that people live like this in our “first world country” while we send billions to Pakistan and spend it on studying whether lesbians buy more shredded cheese in the summer months than winter months.

Oh and anyone who thinks inbreeding is exclusive to white rural folks, you’re sorely mistaken. Whole lotta “muh cuzins” fricking in urban areas. Like…real common. Whether the participants don’t realize it or don’t care is hard to say.

I love how long he had the camera pointing at Ray at the end before he realized Ray had his dick out pissing without a care in the world.

There’s an area near me called Snowbird and if you get deep enough in there, it’s a little like this. Very sad, but also extremely interesting.

Much of Appalachia is a completely forgotten land that you would never recognize as being America.

It's fascinating to me to see such a level of inbreeding that a descendant can't even speak and is basically an animal. It's like a bunch of sasquatch

I stayed in a rental cabin up that road one time. It was an interesting drive up to say the least. It was a lovely place and beautiful country, though. Just very very isolated from pretty much anything else.

This reminded me of a bit Jeff Foxworthy used to do saying if you ever feel bad about yourself and your family just go to Wal-Mart..."Family isn't do so bad after all. We're damn near royalty"

Very much so. A lot of extremely traditional native people live throughout that area also.
