Just what I needed to see before leaving work

I feel for that kid's family, especially since it is relatively close to the holidays.

RIP, very sad. From the sounds of it, he was pretty much gone immediately that night.

I kind of hope he was brain dead from hypoxia on that football field and wasn't conscious at all for the last week. I can't imagine the horror of being stuck in a body you can't operate.

Ugh I donated and really thought he would make a long recovery. I didn't think he would die. I'll say this, if UMMC couldn't correct this then nobody could. They are the best and brightest in the state.

Yup. Several days ago he had no brain activity. brain stem was injured. One of six kids. Other kid is taking it very hard.
