This is even more funny because the Russian government was SO upset over HBO's Chernobyl and its portrayal of the USSR as corrupt, inept, and having a complete disregard for human life. Less than 6 months later....this.

(Unlike what HBO's "Chernobyl" implied). However, it is horrible and no surprise that Russian authorities chose not to inform the healthcare workers of the cause of injury. How the f%#k can you treat someone without knowing all the details?

Historically, that may have been the poverty and hard lives they lived. Look at photos of American farmers from the middle of the 20th century. Life took a toll on people, men and women alike.
