I said any other person in this situation would already be arrested. I standby that statement.

Unlikely. And they didn't arrest her so they didn't check her blood.

There probably needs to be a full to report anytime there is an officer involved shooting.

Hell if I have to go take a piss test anytime I get a cut at the plant, it should be common sense to take a drug and alcohol screen when you kill someone on the job.

I have no idea what they actually have. Neither do you. I can think something is the most likely outcome without yet having actual proof of it.

So to paraphrase here:

You think she will most likely get arrested, but because you arent in charge of the operation you are witholding opinion?

Further you think if the average citizen that "mistakenly" enters into someones home and kills the occupant unprovoked that they won't be arrested (or even interviewed) on the spot?

That's actually not what you said, but I'd bet you know that.

Extremely rarely. And usually only if they're wealthy. The fact that you and others are in this thread defending it and not on the typical OT "put 'em in the chair tomorrow" rant PROVES his point.

Road rage =/= B&E

There is no crime of breaking and entering in Texas. There is burglary, but I don't think she was intending to commit a felony here. The road rage incident facts would actually be more favorable in proving someone really intended to harm another than accidentally going in the wrong apartment

Didn't say that.

Didn't say that either.

I'm throwing educated guesses that are pretty obvious at the wall at worst.

Ronald Gasser is rich and well known? My calling out obvious BS is not proving anything.

It's you doing your shite on cops routine. When she ends up in jail just like anyone else, you won't be around to say a word.

Generally speaking I tend to call out behavior I disagree with. You are certainly free to do as you wish.

I have already said once I will update this story regardless of outcome.

Zero difference here from me walking into a random persons apartment, shooting them and admitting I did it.

How she is not in jail right now is absurd.

I am curious what part of this story you think is bullshite.

Eta: I also find it interesting you are more upset with me posting this story than with what happened.

What was Ronald Gasser's reason for not being arrested until 4 days after he killed Joe McKnight?

he didn't force his way into his apartment and then shot him

FWIW. The office is white and the race thing is already bubbling up in the Dallas area. There are rumors of a mass protest tonight. The Mayor and Chief are going to react to that with an arrest if I was a betting man.

What I posted at 9:30 this morning but I am the one saying she isn't getting preferential treatment and "spinning" this in the officer's favor.
