To answer your question, yes I will update this thread pending the outcome, whatever that may be.
All that said she's already getting preferential treatment. The fact she isnt getting arraigned today is testament to that fact, not to mention she wasnt even interviewed as of this morning.

What was Ronald Gasser's reason for not being arrested until 4 days after he killed Joe McKnight?

Stop with facts. They are dogpiling and don’t care.

Road rage =/= B&E, and at the very least negligent homicide.
There's very very few justifications for what happened here.

That's really not entirely true though. But my question is still valid for OP.
It is far more likely than not that she'd be in jail if she was a typical citizen. Her name would also be plastered across the article.
How much more probable cause do you need for an arrest than an innocent homeowner dead in their own home at the hands of an intruder?

Good thing I never made any sort of claim that his killing was justified.

I don't disagree with most of this, but the she's getting preferential treatment only because she's a cop narrative is obviously false.

Thats my question.

Facts that don't apply to the situation are useless.
IIRC, you're a LEO or work closely with them. Denying she's getting preferential treatment is precisely why people get so disgusted with LEOs as a group. Even when you have a clearly fricked up situation, you find a way to spin it in support of the officer.

How can you say it's false? Seriously?
I'd say the reason she's not arrested yet likely has EVERYTHING to do with the fact she's an officer.
Look, I get it, they probably want to give their own the benefit of the doubt, but denying that it's happening makes no sense.

My point is that non-cops can have the same thing happen to them. I'm sure you won't just admit that though.
Yes, I agree, it is possible to arrest someone (even non cops) once probable cause has been established.
Does anyone doubt that probable cause of a crime has not been established here?

You said only cops get this treatment. I immediately show you to be wrong. My fact is useless

Unlike you, I'm not going to pretend to have all the information.

When did I “spin” this in the officers favor? WTH? My two posts earlier in the thread were just explaining procedure and legal aspects.

Given the fact (that you agreed with) that there are very few ways this could be justified, you think theres not probable cause to arrest her?

I have no idea what they actually have. Neither do you. I can think something is the most likely outcome without yet having actual proof of it.
ETA: We all know what this is... It's you doing your shite on cops routine. When she ends up in jail just like anyone else, you won't be around to say a word.

You disagree with the idea she appears to be getting preferential treatment. I'm not really sure how that's even debatable at this point.

But non-cops get the same treatment. Maybe that's just how it works sometimes. You don't know what's going on and why. You're just throwing shite at the wall.
