Are they going to pass laws against eating while driving? Or fidgeting wity something while driving? Or anything else that might cause any type of distraction? The texting while driving law is enough and probably totally ineffective anyway. How is talking on the phone while driving any different than talking to passengers while driving?

I don't think you can use a gun while driving. Outside of maybe some specific circumstances.

Yes, cops will still be allowed to text while driving. But you won't be able to see them through their dark tinted windows.

This bill will save countless lives while convincing countless mothers that their precious babies are dead face-down in a ditch because they didn't answer their cell phone immediately while driving.

Do you support it or not?
It's not the bill that's the issue. It's enforcement of the bill. Texting is illegal while driving out here. I passed at least 6 people texting this morning on the interstate. So, I don't really think a new bill is going to solve the problem.

Well considering it was just yesterday a girl pulled out right in front of me only for me to look over and see her looking at her cell phone, I’d say I’m pro this law.
