The only criteria Nola doesn't meet is whatever her and her loon doctor buddy have decided fits their "feelings".

Yeah man, I don't know. The data is saying that cases are decreasing everywhere in the state. I guess we'll see if there's a "Memorial Day spike" this week.

So after phase 3 we're fully open back to normal like we were before March?

Yes but don’t think there won’t still be specific restrictions

I don’t think I’m going to visit my Grandpa in a nursing home in 21 days (or whenever phase 3 starts)

NFHS is saying that moderate risk high school sports can begin in Phase 3. That would mean pretty much every popular sports except for football.

In New Orleans playgrounds were allowed to be open, but playground equipment was still not allowed to be played on.

What I quoted was from the new Orleans guidelines....I didnt know about playground equipment not being allowed to be played on.

Here is the full list of guidelines for NOLA

People must not have contributed enough money to her campaign coffers.

Masks for 3 years sureeeeeeee.

Masks do frick all.

Neither surgical nor cotton masks effectively filtered SARS–CoV-2 during coughs by infected patients.

quote:

Of note, we found greater contamination on the outer than the inner mask surfaces. Although it is possible that virus particles may cross from the inner to the outer surface because of the physical pressure of swabbing, we swabbed the outer surface before the inner surface.

Small South Korean study.

quote:

We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection. Public health authorities define a significant exposure to Covid-19 as face-to-face contact within 6 feet with a patient with symptomatic Covid-19 that is sustained for at least a few minutes (and some say more than 10 minutes or even 30 minutes). The chance of catching Covid-19 from a passing interaction in a public space is therefore minimal. In many cases, the desire for widespread masking is a reflexive reaction to anxiety over the pandemic.

From a "perspective" piece by a bunch of doctors in the New England Journal of Medicine.

In fairness only certain areas of the city had their playground equipment blocked off.

He's saying it shouldn't be 21 days as no other southern state I am aware of is doing that.

We did 21 days of Phase 1, so no idea why anyone would think we would change from that

Yeah, there is none whatsoever. If he doesn't announce Phase 3 then he will get it cancelled for him though.
