It's funny and sad seeing somebody get their comeuppance. You win stupid prizes when you do stupid things. Someone who's an adult should have already learned not to post their feelings on social media. She was looking for a response, just didn't get the one she thought she was going to get when people outside of her little bubble saw it.

Anyone who is stupid enough to verbalize thoughts such as she had and share them should in no way have any responsibility for someone else's well-being.
What she posted wasn't just in poor taste. It was vile, mean, and intended to cause more grief. I have no sympathy for such evil.

Despite all its flaws, social media has occasionally delivered a worthwhile lesson: sometimes the best thing to do is shut the frick up.
Sounds like Dr. Christina learned that lesson the hard way. Good on her. I wish more people in modern society would learn this valuable lesson.

Her comments were despicable and over the top. But the dehumanizing effect of social media is a component of the problem.
If she were a politician or member of the news media maybe a Twitter mob of hate in response to her hate would be justified. She should be called a moron and reminded that people with different political beliefs are also human beings. But that's all. Threatening her online or trying to ruin her life is the same category of misbehavior she was guilty of performing.
