Brian Laundrie was controlling, suffered ‘episodes’, Gabby Petito’s friend says
quote:
Rose Davis, 21, of Sarasota, described Laundrie as a controlling and manipulative boyfriend, in one incident stealing Petitio’s ID so she wouldn’t be able to go out to bars with her. Petito had described the strange episodes to Davis, which at times forced Petito to sleep at her house. “He’s got these jealousy issues and he struggles from what Gabby called these “episodes,” where he would hear things and hear voices and wouldn’t sleep,” she told the outlet.
quote:
She said she believes she was one of Petito’s only friends that she had in Florida after relocating there from Long Island, and believed Laundrie was jealous of their relationship and taking her away from him. She said the two friends would share locations on their iPhones to keep each other safe “in case we got lost,” but Laundrie made Petito stop sharing once he found out.
quote:
I do believe that their relationship as they kept going on was getting more problematic. It just seemed like there was more and more arguments,” she told the Daily Mail, adding that they had still planned on getting married despite Petito telling her mother it was called off. “Everything she did, I feel like he thought was wrong.”

Plot twist.
They have a massive blowout fight at Grand Teton. He tells her he can't take it anymore, he's done. He gets in the van and drives off, abandoning her.
He drives back to Florida and prepares to move on with his life. She hooks up with some other vanlife folks and bums around out west a bit more and then makes her way to Florida.
She reaches out to him on Monday or Tuesday and tells him she is in the area and wants to see him to see if they can work things out. If not, she'll get her stuff and they can go their separate ways.
He goes to meet her and she kills him, and then disappears again.

I don’t put much stock in what friends of girls say. Most of their recollections are overdramatic and retarded

He has to be the ONLY suspect? Why would they not be watching him?

Except he is not missing, according to his attorney.
I thought it was her family saying that he was hiding.

They might have other things going on beyond 24/7 indefinite surveillance of a guy that might have committed a crime in another state

And there was not a shred of evidence that showed Scott Peterson, or this guy, killed Laci and the baby. Scott Peterson went to prison because it seemed like he did it.
Unexplained suspicious behavior, and a side piece, do not prove murder.
quote:
Scott Peterson has finally revealed his twisted motive for the murder of his pregnant wife Laci and their unborn child! “I couldn’t stand being around her anymore!” the remorseless monster declared nearly 16 years after the shocking killings that stunned the nation. “Once she was pregnant, I knew she’d be in my life — forever! I couldn’t imagine anything worse than that,” Peterson whined in a jailhouse confession to author Donna Thomas. The cold-blooded creep gleefully stuffed his face with a turkey sandwich while explaining his reason for choosing Christmas Eve 2002 as Laci’s last day on Earth.

It was her families attorney statement.
That Hangit guy is just an idiot.

Pretty sure she would have reached out to her parents by now. Sadly, I’m sure she’s dead.

not long ago the police said they knew exactly where he was. they have to have something to enter his empty home with evidence bags.
although logic says that this guy had time to destroy evidence. what could be in his home as evidence?
ETA: the feds/cops are looking for evidence to find Gabby-technically.

There are FBI offices all across the country and it's been stated there are multiple LEO handling this case, so I would think, with almost 100% certainty, they know exactly where he's at and the "We don't know where he is" act...is just that.
Why some of y'all think law enforcement agencies are always honest with the media/general public makes me laugh.

Can you stop saying that? Stupid people will quote it as truth. The graphic from his lawyer saying he is hiding, not missing, is on pg. 73.

Yea. There is literally no way they actually do not know where this guy is. You cant go anywhere once the federal government gets involved

For six days, the North Port Police Department and the FBI have been pleading with the family to contact investigators regarding Brian's Fiancé Gabby Petito.
'Friday is the first time they have spoken with investigators in detail.'
North Port Police said the department and the FBI are currently working a multiple missing person investigation.
They issued a description of Laundrie as a' white male, 5'8 160lbs, brown eyes, short brown hair, trimmed facial hair, last seen wearing a hiking bag with a waist strap.'
Laundrie's attorney told ABC 7 News Friday afternoon the 23-year-old had gone missing and that investigators were trying to locate both him and Petito - who was last seen on August 24 during the couple's cross-country trip in a campervan.
Police were seen at Laundrie family home in North Port, Florida, on Friday with evidence bags.

EXCLUSIVE: Best friend of Gabby Petito claims Brian Laundrie...
His attorney said they were removing items from the house in order to assist with the search for Laundrie.
'Be advised, the whereabouts of Brian Laundrie are currently unknown,' he told ABC7.
'The FBI is currently at the Laundrie residence removing property to assist in locating Brian. As of now, the FBI is looking for both Gabby and Brian.'
Police reiterated Friday that although Laundrie is a person of interest in Petito's disappearance, he is not wanted for any crime.
Video surfaced of four police officers entering home on Friday afternoon after being let in by an unidentified family member.
After more than two and a half hours at the home, all four officers left in their black Dodge Caravan with none of the Laundrie family members in tow
