her father lives in florida...her mother and step father live in new york...as per your quote, her father never went to their house, he called to see if they would give him any information...when they refused to give him any info, he contacted the police in north port.

What if Brian's dad drove the van back? Brian stayed there and now he's dead. Dad or Mom is trying to save their own asses. What evidence is there he actually drove the van back?

The only thing I can gather is that they are protecting him and likely funded a lot of his ventures. Unless he’s selling drugs. Starting to look like that trip to Florida had a lot more to do than simply with a storage unit.

I think she was co-dependent and he was a manipulative jerk. I think he killed her, or got someone to kill her because he couldn’t live with her or live without her. And he initially thought no one would even know she’s missing and now - oh shite!
But somewhere in the back of my mind I think they’re sipping margaritas in Puerto Vallarta and laughing.

I mean shite could be. We don’t even know if either of them are actually missing. His parents just potentially lied about ever seeing him.

100% a co-dependent relationship. Unless you’ve been in one or have had people close to that are one, it’s a complex dynamic to understand.

The more hours that pass, the likelier this seems to be.
This whole thing is raising red flags. If Brian flew back to “unload a storage unit” then I want to see a TSA document that shows he went through security. Then went through security again to fly back west… These Salt Lake to Tampa trips is that actually how he flew… what are the airports? Everything the police have said, time lines and all is suspect.
The more we learn, the more time we spend looking at this, the less it makes sense.

Both parties in this have exhibited bizarre behavior. if they weren’t immature and likely suffering from mental conditions I’d say this was a hoax. I don’t feel like these two have the brainpower to pull off a hoax like this though.

It will be interesting to find out why the police ruled out any connection to the murdered lesbian couple and how many days Gabby was supposed to have been at the hotel in SLC.
The timeline for all of this is confusing as Hell with all of these massive gaps in it.

I haven't seen any confirmation he flew anywhere but it is widely accepted he flew from SLC to FL 8/19-8/23.
It is confirmed Gabby stayed at the Fairfield Inn SLC next to the airport. Her dad ordered her a pizza or Uber Eats there on 8/20 and she was confirmed leaving the hotel on 8/24 by either security footage or front desk. This fits his alleged itinerary to FL and back.
As for his current whereabouts, the statement released by police tonight said his parents last saw him on Tuesday this week. He was "going for a hike" with a "hiking bag with waist strap" aka a backpack.
So Gabby's dad called his parents Friday 9/10 to confirm the van was there and no Gabby. Her mom filed the missing persons report on Saturday 9/11. And Brian goes for a walk wearing a backpack on Tuesday 9/14 never to be heard from again.
