Blows my mind that y’all think you’re better at this and have more knowledge about this shite than the professionals who have been hands on since the beginning
Nobody said this, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve a ton of criticism here.
The police also never really mentioned that he was the "primary suspect" did they? Sure you can come up with something like, they didn't want to tip him off.
But you know what else they did well, is freaking lost him.
I have no idea if I could have done a better job or not, but that doesn't prevent us from being able to criticize the investigators especially on a message board.
Finally, for all we currently know this may not even be Laundrie right? Do we even know its human bones?

They keep saying “remains”. That points to a badly decomposed body or skeletal remains. If it was a badly decomposed body are they able to see how he died? If it’s skeletal remains, seems soon to go to bones unless animals got to him.

Brian Entin reported on his Twitter that the remains are "skeletal". He also wrote "bones". He doesn't give a source.

No. Not long ago we had the Afghanistan thread and the Ida thread pinned at the same time. This one has topped the Afghanistan thread which was at 503. The Ida thread was over 1,000 pages. We had two 500+ page threads pinned at the same time.
There are probably several hurricane threads that are longer than this thread.
I realize you're likely not being serious, but this is just another longish thread.

That was hilarious as it was happening. Between it and the Bethune video, a third of the pages in this thread are people literally arguing over shadows.

Man I’ll never forget, by the end of ATPB’s it was just as crazy and out there as the Q thread
They were going through bank records and bank board members and thought they were about to bring down every major bank in the state of Alabama

Bacteria, fungi, parasites—they are all living and thriving off your death, and they can tell researchers and forensic investigators a lot about how, when and why you died

A friend of mine who went to Alabama told me about that thread (for obvious reasons was obsessed with Cam getting busted), and that's how I discovered TD.

Have we forgotten how quickly the legs sticking out of the collapsed Hard Rock Hotel turned to bones wearing boots?

I try not to get offended when people disagree with me.

I'd like to know more about the area in which the bag, backpack, notebook and remains were found and the timeline of some things. BL was gone 3 or 4 days before the parents reported him missing and told authorities where he went for the hike. The parents' attorney leads us to believe the parents told the authorities of areas he frequented, but we don't know when they told them (or even if). We don't know if this area was under water when BL wondered into the park or the water came after, but before the search began. Assuming the parents previously told the authorities about this area as insinuated by their attorney, why didn't they search it when the water was gone before they reopened the park? Don't know that it makes any difference at all at this point, but I'm curious of the timeline on this and what really happened between the parents and the authorities. Interestingly, some of the law enforcement agencies held a press conference earlier today at the park. I watched it. It was purely to give kudos to all the agencies who have been involved and to point out how difficult and treacherous the area is in addition to the hours of manpower expended in the search. It sounded somewhat CYA to me which made me more curious. ETA: When the presser ended with no questions and no other info, you could hear the reporters commenting and they were not happy at all because they were expecting some substantive news. Some were complaining about coming out there for it.
This is exactly the type of post I’m referring to
