Much better than stomped waffles.

There aren’t waffles on the menu at all.
I guess that means my scenario is not plausible after all

parents are acting too weird. No emotion whatsoever to the situation, even if they don't know..and even if the situation is how you describe, normal concerned parents would voice something

If their son was truly “missing” they would no longer be lawyered up.

Why would you say that? Is this one of those, “if they have nothing to hide, there’s no need for a lawyer” ignorant takes?

AA bit more about the body found on the Blue Ridge Parkway
LINK
He's not likely to be the source of the white pick up truck that the Farragut Cracker Barrell BL was driving.

Family members said the victim, who they identified as 33-year old Josue Calderon, did not have a car and they don’t know how he ended up on the Blue Ridge Parkway more than 800 miles from his home.

Police come, FBI comes, reviews footage in managers office. Confirms that it was in fact Brian. They ask to see info on the prepaid card he used, and left. That's all i know. I expected to see it on the local news and its been crickets for a week.
Every single other potential sighting of any significance has made its way to the public, some even before police are notified. It has proven nearly impossible to keep anything to do with this case private for very long. Hell, this case/story has gotten multiple Youtubers/Podcasters big viewer/subscriber bumps just by them being in the right place at the right time. Anyone who has seen a random arse white dude that looks anything like him has run to the news, Facebook, Twitter, etc. But not this one, nope. Everyone involved with this sighting is different. They won't say a word.

So is the OT now about to argue whether a pancake is a waffle?
It most certainly isn't. That is a 100% settled debate.

Dog find him yet? What’s the latest? Money still on dead or in Cuba?

Riddle me this- why would they confirm it’s him to the manager even?
Best case I can see is them saying “we are checking everything, mind if we get the card info, just in case, while we are here?”

Except the fbi - those guys are the ones telling everybody they saw him. The people at the Cracker Barrel? Not interested in speaking. Minus a guy that happened to be there giving his friend the tip.

Well, I don’t even see blueberry waffles on the Cracker Barrel menu..,
The first time he told the story it was blueberry waffles, the second time it was blueberry pancakes.
Also, it makes no sense to go into some story about what you're doing and where you're going at cracker barrel. You can just order food, pick it up, and leave, like most people do.

I don't think it would be that hard to blend in somewhere if he has a hat and wears a mask. He'd have to have a decent amount of cash though.
If he is camping on AT, peanut butter and other high calorie food can sustain for cheap
