How? He wasn't even officially wanted until today. As far as I know they could have paid for him to fly to a 5 star resort in Thailand.
One of the lawyers can correct me, but I think the big point will be if they knew he committed a crime.

If BL isn’t dead honestly somewhat impressive he could evade a FBI manhunt with his face plastered all over TV and social media for this long

That's my thought as well.
As long as he didn't spill his guts to them they know nothing and did not aid a criminal.

He is wanted for unauthorized use of a debit card, not murder. No way anyone gets charged with accessory after the fact for that crime.

I literally said that further down in the post, almost verbatim.

Now if they have some evidence to show that the parents knew from the beginning that they were helping him evade a murder charge then that would be different
But that can be hard to prove short of actual texts or something where it's said plainly. Especially because they haven't given any statements yet so cops don't have that to pick apart and catch them in lies.

That's why I am pretty convinced that he is deceased.

Who thinks their house was bugged while they were searching for evidence?
That may be illegal I’m not sure.

But based on what we know that isn't the case, or they could have charged them days ago.
How could they have charged anyone for murder days ago when it was only ruled a homicide 2 days ago?
As soon as he came back without her, something had to be suspicious about that. We're not talking about an arrest. We're just talking about getting a warrant to look at their info.
Also, we are talking about the feds, right? Whether we like it or not, you don't think they are above doing something like that?
Are they looking to build a case against the parents, or only to locate him?
Posted on 9/23/21 at 9:53 pm to BamaGradinTn
Being the FBI I am sure they are trying to build a case against the parents as well.

It probably would be but, let's be honest, what do we mean by illegal? Let's say, in that 2 or 3 hours they escorted the parents out of the house while they searched it, they planted some bugs. Now obviously anything they gleaned from those bugs wouldn't be admissible in court. That's the illegal part. But who's to say they wouldn't use that information to find Brian? Nobody else would ever know they did it. As far as I know they don't have to prove how they managed to locate him. Worst case scenario, they have someone phone in an anonymous tip that he was spotted wherever it is you need him to be. And I'm pretty sure since the Patriot Act, law enforcement has more and more rights when it comes to surveillance. They might be able to get some kind of warrant to do that. The bar is pretty low now.

They may be able to make some sort of obstruction charge stick in relation to the search/homicide of Gabby. Remember she was a resident of their house and we have no idea of any evidence they found there. For all we know they may have messed with an idevice that Gabby backed up her iPhone or iPad to or some other off the wall thing.
What if Gabby's bank statement arrived after Brian got home and the FBI found it in the garbage, trying to concel a crime?
Yes that specifically is a slim chance. But I would hope that they have found some evidence of something on either Brian or his parents by now. If they haven't they will just keep digging deeper.
And remember they just have to get a Judge or Grand Jury to sign off on a warrant not win a trial at this point.
And my personal belief is they won't need an indictment against them. They are facing financial ruin and the total destruction of their life as they know it. At their age rebuilding would not be easy. They are already in a shitty situation but if could definitely get shittier, remember they have a daughter and grandkids.

Agree with this.

Pretty sure it was debunked as Spotify can change playlist titles/accounts when the account is mass reported. But I mean if he's going to spend money with gabby's debit card then who knows maybe it was him.

Could Brian be taken down by a colony of fire ants?
walking at night through the south, fire ant colonies are there. Enough stings and his throat would swell shut.
Natives would know this; he's no native, but a New Yorker who's lived in Florida how many years? Flooded land and a ball of fire ants floating through the water.
Lethal.
