And I'm just going to put this here to get ahead of it:
-I believe brian killed her.
-I do not blame her for her own murder.
-I am not defending him.
-I do believe this was a toxic relationship with two people who shouldn't have been together, much less living in van together.
I just want to get ahead of that before the same, tired comments come rolling in.

Does anyone question that the Utah police in just letting them go without any domestic violence charges?

there was only one 911 call, and the caller gave the dispatcher his name and contact information, but he was no longer there by the time police arrived...he said during the call that he was not from moab, so possibly a traveler who was just passing through...the second witness, who gave the written statement, only saw the portion of the fight that occurred near the van.

You can, but I think it is a bit unfair. With the backdrop of Covid and the number of people police in that area deal with during that time of year, I'm having a hard time faulting them for not pulling the trigger on an arrest.

Has this rumor that a neighbor saw BL and his parents leaving the house in a truck with a small camping trailer on Sept 11 been debunked.
That would be the day that she was actually reported missing.
If true means he left the house on Sept 11 and the swamp search is simply a ruse and distraction.

Whatever happened up there, BL was calm enough to drive all the way back to Florida without getting into anymore incidents. If I would've been in his shoes, I would've been an emotional train wreck knowing that I was abandoning the love of my life, lifeless body on the ground. There's no way I could've made the trip back.

But for all we know, they may have had a fight, he walked away for a day or so. When he gets back to the van she is gone and he apparently does not love her that much an left. Really, we do not know what happened yet.
