They are smaller than a Ford escape.

Maybe he thought he could pull off the elaborate ruse and somehow get away with it. A guy who just murdered his girlfriend probably isn’t thinking rationally.

Seems like he may have had days to figure this out. I’m not buying the offing off yet.

An argument that was taken too far is the most likely scenario, that doesn’t mean that he’s innocent at all. But that also doesn’t mean that he’s some super evil person that plotted and murdered his SO. Again, you guys are looking at this shite in way too much of a black/white lens.

You're just an incel because you don't think he was abusing her their entire relationship. Crimes of passion never occur and otherwise reasonable people never snap and commit violent acts without thinking.

Have you driven out west much? There are lots of passes and high elevations that someone coming from the east would not be used to and that would make them uncomfortable. Where they got pulled over is a good example, you start out flat at the entrance and then climb steeply on the side of the mountain to get back into the scenic area of Arches.

There was a two week gap between this incident and her murder. He had plenty of time and "obviously more than eager to be of assistance" parents to get away from any homicidal urges at any time.

Not to mention a history of taking a van that doesn't belong to him when he felt the need to "separate".

Or being from NY she may not have been comfortable driving anything?

Fair enough. Didn’t think about that.

She said driving the van and not driving the area, so I’m just assuming it was the car itself.

Exactly, I’ll be sure to let my wife and infant daughter know that I’m an incel

I wasnt able to understand this either. Also, unless I’ve missed it, she didnt drive the van while in Salt Lake City. She stayed in a hotel while BL flew home and back. Her dad ordered food delivery for per for one meal during this stay. So she wasnt apparently comfortable driving the van from the hotel to pick up food.

There are still so many unanswered questions. I do know thats its a sad situation and feel terrible for her entire family.

This is all true but this isn't a normal couple. The only "friend" of either we've heard from or know exists is the trashy druggie girl that GP met on bumble. If neither of them were even able to make friends with people in real life it's not very likely they would be able to find someone else to date them. That's probably why neither of them wanted to move on from the other. Or Brian in all of his evil genius ways mind controlled her and forced her to stay with him.

Some are terrible at directions and probably are not really "afraid to drive" a particular vehicle, but really just don't like driving in unfamiliar locations for fear of getting lost.

Saw this on Reddit post less than a hour ago. Apparently just on the north edge of the preserve.

I’ll go with blunt force trauma. He hit her with the back of a shovel. Maybe he stabbed her with a tent stake?

He bashed her head with one of the rocks in the creek bed and then laid her on top of the rock he used to make it seem like she fell and hit her head.
