It’s rare. Would you want to be on trial in that situation? Or would you want 100% proof? What would your defense be? “Ok y’all it may not be ru person I killed but I’ll take the blame anyway”

50% his parents could be charged with accessory after the fact/obstruction if authorities choose to go that route
I dont think the parents have been helpful or truthful at all. Yes, LEGALLY they have done things but just out of decency, you just think that they wouldn't have been som protective of their son when his GF was missing.
Thought it was disgusting to send BL's sister out there proclaiming their love for Gabby when thenir actions showed otherwise

what is supposed to be an informative thread. never fails
This is what happens when no information has come out in over 48 hours......people just start throwing shite at the wall and at each other......
Then when new info comes out there will shite show between who was right and who was wrong..and "see I told you so"

I think it wasn't in his clients' best interest. I doubt the FBI told him it wasn't in HIS or his clients' best interest.
They announced on Tampa local news last night, that he cancelled the presser after a meeting with the FBI. No specifics were given aboot the conversation.

What about grand theft auto? That van is not in his name. Probably GP’s parents name.
Did you use a camping shovel, a regular shovel, or a cadaver dog for that ‘groundbreaking’ take??
I’ll see myself out.

Laundries may make a statement at 1 today. I will update with a link when I find one.

Crazy things do happen, but it’s weird at how many people are hoping the crazy things happened and not what’s sitting right in front of them.
Yes, especially early on it is weird that people had a little hope that she had run off and was still alive instead of being in an unmarked grave in the desert. So weird that people would want to hope that it was something crazy and she was alive, instead off being eaten by scavengers. Really weird that people would hope for that. But it is completely normal to hope she was murdered and he has committed suicide to win an internet argument. That is completely normal.

I bet they cancel too. John Walsh was on the news this morning, naming them the Dirty Laundries, claiming they will be arrested, etc.

So then give me what odds you think it is? Why is this a hard question?
Because throwing out odds is very arbitrary. In legal terms we have a criminal standard, which is "beyond a reasonable doubt".
It isn't hard to throw out odds, it's simply irresponsible in this context. I hope you're never charged with a crime you did not commit.

The odds don't support that. People are giving their opinions on what they believe will be the outcome.
I get wishful thinking but the outcome was never going to be positive.

It is still feasible they didn't know anything. BL was a hobo. I am sure it was common for him to come in and out at odd times.

Here's what was on Fox News.
Brian Laundrie’s family attorney cancels press conference after speaking to FBI
The attorney for Brian Laundrie canceled a press conference that was scheduled for Tuesday after speaking with the FBI, Fox News has learned.
Laundrie, 23, is the boyfriend of Gabby Petito, the missing Florida woman whose body may have been discovered Sunday in Wyoming.
A reporter from the New York Post, citing the attorney, tweeted that the press conference was not canceled at the behest of the FBI but rather because he said it is not in his clients’ ‘best interest.’
He has been named a person of interest in the case. His family told police that they have not seen him since last Tuesday.
The autopsy of the remains found in the investigation is set to be completed on Tuesday, which could confirm that the body belonged to Petito.

I'm not disputing this but did he work jobs and stay in one place before the present Van Life? I haven't seen anything of his prior life.

Honestly not surprised it wasn’t eaten by that water.

Now referred to as a criminal case. Is that a fact?

Article says the family told police they haven’t seen him since Tuesday. Are police still denying they talked to them?
