I don’t think her body was ever in that van
Yes we all agree on this.
The only thing this allows us to possibly deduce is because we see arguably strange activity at the van on the video..is reasonable to assume the following
A. It’s Brian Laundrie in the Van
B. Because of the oddness of Brian trying to hide himself (pure speculation here) he has already killed Gabby at this point.
C. Otherwise where is she as the video is rolling???
C. If he simply wanted “privacy” then why close the van door? It doesn’t make sense...BL does not want TO BE SEEN AT ALL..so he climbs in and closes the door to give the appearance that the campsite is unattended.

If anyone is accumulating original documents,
the multipage police report of the couple's being pulled over by the police and questioned for an hour is at the end of this article.
Redacted is that Brian said both he and she suffered from something and neither were taking medicine for it.

In the FBI’a defense, this has been bad timing for them. Most of their field agents were in Washington pretending to be MAGA bros, so they had really limited resources to respond to this initiially.

I mean in the bodycam footage they establish that he had disgusting feet. Maybe his hobofootcheese masked the cadaver smell. Maybe his hobofootcheese was the spark that set the final argument alight.
Thats my point...if she was dead at the time the Buthunes passed when the flip flops were outside the van he wouldnt care....he apparently took them off when he got in and closed the door to the van as the video shows.
That leads me to believe she was alive in the van and he took his sandals off before he got in the van to not piss her off as she already established she didnt like his dirty feet inside the van

Why would a cadaver dog lie?

i think so, too, but would they have used a cadaver dog at that time before they knew she was deceased?

You’ve never heard the saying “lie like a cadaver dog”

You had me up until here.
Is sitting in a van, with the door open, privacy? I would think privacy is in the van with the door closed?

The most disturbing thing about all of this is that there are apparently just dead bodies lying around everywhere all the time.

Maybe he closed the door because he was going to tear off a hunk and didn't want people recording their sexual escapades.
Posted on 9/20/21 at 7:26 pm to redstick13
because this was the local police department who couldn't even manage to keep an eye on their person of interest...

I see what you are saying. But maybe he got into the habit of taking them off. Maybe he actually said “you know what, she’s right, it does make the van messy” and started doing it on his own.
I know it’s nitpicking but I don’t think him taking the sandals off means she’s necessarily still alive.
Maybe he had then off while outside the van and didn’t want to waste time grabbing them when he heard the van approaching.
Maybe they had blood in them and he didn’t went to track that in the van?!?

Damn I hadn’t heard that police call yet. I guess that’s why they were saying it’s a very important question when they pulled her over.

Speaking of sandals. Were they still there after the van was gone? Wasn’t there a book there too?

Insane the cops let the killer disappear

She actually bitched about him hiking barefoot.

I think y’all are reading too much into the sandals thing and definitely reading too much into the claimed OCD she self diagnosed
