I think the saying goes, "let sleeping dogs lie"

Thanks for sharing that. That’s answers a lot of questions I had about the timeline. If you’re just becoming aware of this story, that’s a great starting point

You make this thread unreadable, as much as I would like to catch up on it.

Please go away.

Damn I hadn’t heard that police call yet. I guess that’s why they were saying it’s a very important question when they pulled her over.

They said it was a very important question because if there is no intent it's not assault.

Well that’s what Ive been trying to get at oh about 70 pages ago but hey its the OT on a Monday.

Yes it could very much help forensics better zero in on what time he killed her up there 300 meters from that vans location in the video.

The Body Farm in TN has been studying human decomp. rates, in different climates, for years. I bet some of their knowledge, and experts, will be used to more closely establish a time of death.

it could be really hard to pin this on him with solid evidence.

It’s a weird set of events because I believe if he had her dead body in the van at any point, the cops can find evidence of it. IF they haven’t, then I’m going to continue with my speculation that she was never dead in the van.

Unless he took her out there, went hiking, and then he killed her and already had his shovel and shite with him. That’s just seems weird that he’s have a full shovel while hiking: He may have some little garden shovel on a normal trip, but not the size that would be required to bury an adult body.

Again, just odd circumstances. No way she was ever dead in the van and the cops not know that. Brian likely knows that too. So, that leads me back to him being dead by suicide somewhere.

But how did he get to whereever he killed himself? (If that turns out to be true.)

The only thing this allows us to possibly deduce is because we see arguably strange activity at the van on the video..is reasonable to assume the following
A. It’s Brian Laundrie in the Van
B. Because of the oddness of Brian trying to hide himself (pure speculation here) he has already killed Gabby at this point.
C. Otherwise where is she as the video is rolling???
C. If he simply wanted “privacy” then why close the van door? It doesn’t make sense...BL does not want TO BE SEEN AT ALL..so he climbs in and closes the door to give the appearance that the campsite is unattended.

We see no strange activity. We see someone closing a van door. The van has doors for a reason. Sometimes people want them open, sometimes they want them closed.

Furthermore this van is adjacent to a dirt road with a fiancée inside who hates dirt in her van. It is entirely reasonable to close the door as a vehicle approaches and churns up dirt.

Doesn’t rule out Brian doing anything bad, but anything about “strange activity” is complete speculation.

Ever been there? I've been there. Ever been under the UT stadium? I have. It is......interesting.

Is sitting in a van, with the door open, privacy? I would think privacy is in the van with the door closed?

It could be something as simple as they were smoking a joint and thought it might be a park ranger driving up. But I’m still not convinced of the door closing

I doubt he buried her. If he buried her he is done. And would already be named a suspect.

Most likely he left her out there in a state where they cannot determine if she died alone. Especially since she’s unrecognizable.

Yes.

Implying him simply getting in the van and closing the door is somehow nefarious is comical.

Obviously, it’s “smelling dogs lie.” That’s why they are unconstitutional.
