More than likely the locals had someone close and the marshals reached out. All these US Marshal task forces you hear about apprehending fugitives are mostly local cops teamed up with a couple US Marshals. They use the local resources to chase down bad guys.

But not homicide detectives, usually. They'll use swat or local street guys who do raids.

Yea it’s not a slam dunk that the parents were involved. This guy could be really smart and manipulative and executed this perfectly with them having no idea.

If he’s that manipulative then he probably had Gabby manipulated.

911 call recording just released from a witness reporting that he saw the van and he witnessed BL slapping Gabby

And didn't get involved?

ETA: Seems like they were going to try and involve themselves but BL took off in the van.

Probably. Which is why the video is possibly worthless.

I thought ole baw didn’t like plastic lol

They're attacking his morals by leaving empty plastic water bottles on his property. Looks like there is an empty plastic bottle or two on the ground near the jeep and sago palm....BL has to be pretty upset about that

so he led them to believe gabby was out having the time of her life in the wilderness without her vehicle and not actually lost for the 5-10 days he was back in fl?

as she was someone who was about to be their son's bride i would have expected a little more concern out of them

Then why go quiet on police and not tell the police he was missing until he was gone for a couple of days?

Are we really debating who the abuser is when one ended up dead in a forest? Seems pretty obvious to me

There are cases where abusers kill the abused and there are cases where the abused have killed their abusers.

Maybe he has been an abusive a-hole to her all this time and went too far.
Maybe he wasn't abusive but was sick of her shite and killed her in a fit of rage.

It's just as likely they were both abusive and toxic.

Around here its really whoever wants to go. A lot of times they are detectives because they normally handle the investigations and in touch with lots of people in the communities.

The JPSO killed on the DEA task force a few years back was a detective.

Towing the Mustang...

If that tow truck operator doesn't match the stereotypical tow truck driver...

I bet he sounds like Mater...

Any truth to these rumors he was seen in the Mobile area at a gas station? Now rumors of a body found in the parking lot of the Walmart at Tillman’s Corner.

Yea completely valid. I don’t think I ever, or anyone else, said that wasn’t a possibility. We don’t have anything to back that up yet, but it’s def possible.
