what are your thoughts on how we came to be here?
I don't know. None of us do. That's what I've been saying since my first posts.
With the body cam video, all options are still on the table, from "serial killer couple" to "he killed her and left her"

Do we have a link to the lawyer press conference?

Say he never talks and the defense goes with he left her alive.
Then if he strangled her and due to decomposition and animals feeding on the corpse there is no soft tissue evidence. Dude could get away with it due to a lack of evidence.

I don't understand the issue with claiming both of these people were abusers in the relationship. She is on camera saying she hit the guy. We have this 911 call claiming he was hitting her. C-all of the above can be applied here
Humans create narratives in their mind. We really love villains and heroes/victims, in particular. Humans also, often, are very stubborn in accepting data that doesn't conform to our initial beliefs. If you're willing to leave reality to justify your beliefs, then any option is on the table.

That article answers a question asked earlier in this thread. Brian is 23.
911 call recording just released from a witness reporting that he saw the van and he witnessed BL slapping Gabby

Is the lawyer gonna retire live?
Posted on 9/20/21 at 12:56 pm to LegendInMyMind
This is likely the case. They were both mean to each other and highly toxic to each other.

You are 100% right. But there are some in here that have completely dismissed the fact that SHE could have been abusive as well.

We see and hear this everywhere all the time specially from Conservative commentators/content creators.
It’s beyond annoying people still stoop to this level of placating idiocy.

Many a murder via strangulation has been proven without soft tissue. The hyoid bone says hi.

as a grown arse man who has lived many years on this earth, i have had more than one woman throw dishes or slap/punch me.
i am happy to admit it was passive-aggressive behavior on my part to deserve it
the fairer sex is also the more passionate and emotional sex and as a man my job is to de-escalate the situation or if the behavior continues, to remove myself from the relationship entirely.
punching a woman is simply not in my DNA

Hitting a partner on purpose would count.

His behavior is rational if he killed her.

Of course, but you can't charge the guy with anything or prosecute him without a body. Hence why they immediately executed a search warrant once the body was found.
Absolutely they can. It's been done before. it's a difficult thing to prove, but it has and can be done.

You do realize that he took blame for her hitting him in that video, right?
Yeah, he did a lot to passive aggressively paint her as the abuser. And she cried for over an hour, like someone that knew that they needed to try to take the blame off of the person that is probably going to beat the shite out of them, if they say anything wrong to the cops.
Posted on 9/20/21 at 1:00 pm to King
I don't think a good defense strategy would be "well yeah he strangled her, but she was alive when he left her there in the wilderness on her own"

It counts still, but in the video he clearly says he pushed her away when she was hitting him. It wasn't retaliation.
She says she hit him b/c he told her to calm down
