i haven't seen anything regarding that, there was just a statement by the NPPD that they "knew" he returned there on 9/1...but they also claimed 2 days ago that they "knew" where he was, so i suspect they took the family's word via their attorney.

I don't think so. And even if we had a time allegedly it wouldn't be reliable IMO without corroboration. His parents might be relaying information he gave them and witnesses are famously unreliable in criminal investigations.
Harder things to fudge are stuff like cell phones and cameras provided by impartial third parties

Why, if he had killed her by then, was he still around on 8/29? That one tik tok girl is not the only one to say they saw him during the time frame. There was a LA retired cajun chef that seems to have life cred (being a business owner, chef, with TV credentials and seemingly no reason to make up his video/tiktok/storey. My question is why, if he had killed her, why was he hitchhiking right up to the time he had to leave to get the van back to Florida in the timeframe that has been given. If he had killed her, why didnt he just take the van? Why was he out there at a bar by himself, and then hitchhiking around my himself up the time he had to leave? Did he just get a combination of a ride and foot power get back to the camp, kill her, and then drive back to Florida? If so he either buried her within carrying distance ot loaded her in the van. But law enforcement has had the van for about 5 days. And I would bet they checked it for evidence. And I may be wrong, but I can not see them finding evidence of a dead girl in the back of that van, and deciding not to name him as an actual suspect.
