Played there twice in High School(Woodlawn). Other than taking extra precautions to lock our bus and fans' cars inside the gate at the school, it was very normal.

Hell I’ve played against them. Never had any issues or anything. Just don’t have anything valuable showing in your car and be vigilant. There ought to be cops there.

Yeah man McKinley is a ghetto school but none of that stuffed happened during a football game. I don’t think OP is gonna die.

I’ve been to multiple games there in the 3-4 years. Parks close to the stadium/school and don’t have obvious valuables lying open in your car (that goes for anywhere in BR really).
There will be police there.
The fans should be fine unless you or people near you start something.

On game night school parking lot is pretty secure and safe. It's the ride in and out for a few blocks that is sketchy. High LEO presence on game nights.

Back in the early 1990’s we (Broadmoor) played McKinley there and the coaches made us put on our pads and helmets to drive through the neighborhood around there. No problems at the stadium but got rocks thrown at our bus on the way out after we whipped them.

Yes. McKinley will have 17 fans in the stadium and that will be considered a packed house for them.

Yes, 3 times in very recent years. Never had any issues and there was a strong police presence. Bring cash, they cook up the best fried turkey wings I’ve ever had.

Update: I survived in case anyone cares. Lol.
The food was good. A playoff game at Mckinley high did not disappoint. Pulled up to a DJ in the parking lot and essentially a block party in progress. Drove with my pistol in my lap after we beat them 42-0. Thanks for y’all’s feedback.
