It's days like this when I wonder why in the hell I moved back to bama. So when this evening will we finally be in the clear in the Birmingham area?

Hopefully by 10-11pm tonight. Perhaps a bit earlier depending on how quickly things move.

Looks like a tornado is close to JSU.

Is that the same one that just went through Ragland/Ohatchee/Wellington area?

If so, that thing has been on the ground forever it seems.

Alabama has some fascinating place names. I like our place names. I can pronounce them, unlike LA and MS

Gonna be interesting to watch this cell hailing its arse off east of Brookhaven grow as it tracks across Mississippi towards the Alabama state line.

My dog is probably freaking the frick out. If you see an elderly Border Collie running around the historic district, please tell me. Didn't bring my phone charger and my shite is gonna die. Will be able to use the computer, at least.

Cell south of Meridian caught a radar tornado warning.

Just like the one north of it it really popped once it got near the state line

So my wife is in Chattanooga trying to get back to B'ham this afternoon with our 4 month old. I'm trying to figure out how to direct her back here, but I'm worried she might have to hunker down there for a while.
