He beat a sick 60 year old man.

Well, you know they're digging for any past criminal history related to muggings, robbery, or violence of any kind
Posted on 1/25/18 at 9:58 pm to TH03
Damn this new info sounds really bad for him.
Posted on 1/25/18 at 9:59 pm to the paradigm
Oh absolutely. Anything to cast down on the possibility he was just a nice old man minding his own business that night.

Is there camera footage? I thought I’ve seen it mentioned but has it been confirmed?
Posted on 1/25/18 at 10:01 pm to GeorgeReymond
I don't believe it's been confirmed, but I could be wrong. I didn't follow it much today.

Even if it was a "mugging".. jeez just give him your cash, watch jacket..whatever. all useless shite compared to life in prison
Just awful.
Just awful.

Interested to see Red's criminal history, because no matter how minor it may be, it'll definitely be used against him.
An OPP docket master search of Arnold jackson, born in 1954 (assuming for the sake of argument it’s the same guy) reveals only a theft charge in 1989. That’s the only Arnold Jackson on record around the deceased’s age. May not even be him.
Good luck using that at trial.

Not certain but that could exonerate him from being accused of kicking him on the ground. Maybe that has yet to come out.

Interesting situation, I certainly wanna know more details of how this interaction played out.
If Ward belligerently beat an innocent man to death, it’s a no-brainer. It would seem that would be an unlikely scenario, but I guess ya never know.
I’m more inclined to believe there was something, be it panhandling or attempted mugging, or instigation of some some sort from the old man that resulted in an overaction from Ward, obviously exacerbated by his drunkenness.
If mugging, seems clear that Ward would be in the clear. If old man in any way instigated this fight, seems Ward might have a decent defense. If panhandling, it gets blurry depending upon how aggressive the panhandler was.
I don’t know Ward, but I find it hard to believe a professional would randomly beat a random innocent old man to death. My guess is the old man shares some blame, and the courts will have to determine what blame rests with Ward.

What? If it was mugging and he was in fear for his life, he'd be 100% justified.
But the mugging thing is a hopefully guess by his friends at this point. Nothing based in the facts as they are presented thus far.

1954 doesnt match 60 years old

Thought Jackson was 60 not 64.

Yeah, that is what I was getting at. At least in the court of public opinion he may not have kicked a man to death. Either way he is screwed.
Posted on 1/25/18 at 10:07 pm to TH03
Yeah..i dont beleive it was a mugging.
Just saying.. even if it was.. still not worth it in the end to pummel a guy to death and go to trial, lose job etc

Yea but it’s possible the docket info isn’t completely accurate. Either way the criminal history argument is nonexistent.

No, not really, sorry. ‘He was panhandling’ isn’t a legitimate defense to Kicking a guys head in
