It flooded right? And you have to dive to get there? And it’s on a decline?

CBS reports third group are ready to go. Elon Munk has visited. Rain conintues.

And the extraction of boys 5 through 8 took two hours less than the first four.

The Shanghai newspaper reported the faster action (the second time) as well, but hid all but the first sentence of their article behind a paywall.

It apparently rained buckets overnight curious to see how if it affects the water level. I wonder if they take all 5 or leave the coach? You would think the staging time to get one person would only be a fraction of the 20 hours it takes to get ready for 4.

Heard on talk radio that the pumps were continuously pumping --- and they were worried about too much more rain straining the pumps.

I'll get this wrong I'm sure but it was like 400,000 gallons per hour maybe??

And I assume it's not just staging time but availability of supplies. As an adult will the coach require more/different supplies??

Also found an article where the diver with the kids said that the kids were asking for World Cup updates. I just can't imagine being that calm.

Per Twitter two kids have lung infections and the beginning of pneumonia.

What else would there be to talk about?

Considering another report saying the ones that came out earlier today were in much better shape than the first 4, hopefully the ones coming out today are doing pretty well. Hopefully the ones with pneumonia were in the first group out.

The Thai king has visited the monk who visited the site and predicted in two days the boys would be found. And they were.
He prayed at the site and the rain lessened.

The king offered the monk the king's robes.

This article is an interesting look into things that are different from what we believe in.

Really glad they are getting them out!

I notice the illustrative map in the OP has metric measurements and because of that I can’t comprehend any distances. I take it that it is a long way underground through narrow spots that are submerged in water and it’s raining. Just that damn metric system.

Amanda Hodge on Twitter is good to follow for this. Boys are wearing/have worn sunglasses for some time (obvious reasons) and have a tv in their unit but can't watch it yet. That part is cruel --- they could let them listen at least to a soccer match or bring a radio in.

Phase 3 underway, good luck and god bless the rescuers and the wild boars!

So what are the coach and remaining players doing while they're waiitng? Has someone been staying with them the whole time since they've been found?

Edit: I see the doctor has been with them. Great to hear.
