Yah she might be only 5 or 6. I don't really know.

Show the mom the note, if she approves, place it in an envelope in their mailbox. The kid might appreciate getting mail.

Use Abby's events to hit that

Your letter is fine but I would give it to her parents to pass on, if they choose. Just explain to them, like you have here, that you don’t want to be inappropriate but wish to support her entrepreneurial spirit.
Whenever in doubt if something is appropriate with a child, go through the parents.

slippery slope these days, if OP isn't pretty good friends with the parents it's probably best to let that slide

Stop.
Stop talking.
Stop posting about this 8yo neighbor kid
Say no more about her ‘tasty AF’ mom.
Just stop.

Even by your standards this is creepy at best. You need some help with the attention whoring.

I disagree. If my 8 year old daughter was giving letters to single men in our neighborhood with our address and inviting them over for events, I’d 100% want to know. I’d also feel much better about the 40 year old guy who told me about it than the one who didn’t.

100% and you may avoid yelling at him.

What’s the fun in that?

what I meant is, if the OP isn't trolling, he should ignore this, or at a minimum let the kid's mom know she's inviting potential Chester the Molesters over
ETA: disregard, I think we're saying the same thing

Mate, simplify the letter "Abby good luck with the sale! I'll take any ___ stickers you have left. Here's 5 bucks! Sorry I missed the lemonade stand"
And hand it to the mom next time you see her
And then pray the parents don't ever see you posting about an 8 year old for the amusement of a CFB message board in Louisiana

If that was my kid and I saw your note and thread here on TD, I would be tempted to smash a cinder block against your head, me.

Good note. I always foster entrepreneurial spirit when I can. Any time I see kids selling shite in the neighborhood, I'll throw them a 10 or a 20

Biggest pedo thread I've ever seen on TD.

I'll always stop and get a cup of lemonade if I see some kids with a lemonade stand
