can you go back in that other thread and tell us more about these blackouts that NOLA is having because of the heat?

A buddy that works for Entergy is the one who told me there have been some due to heat. I cannot confirm if it's true or not but I have no reason to challenge him.

They were two 750ml bottles of liquor. Not something she could have been actively drinking. And they were just piled up in the back seat with a whole bunch of trash.

It's like you buy a big bottle of liquor from the liquor store and take it to someone's house.

Like I said, I didn't watch much of the video. Seems like she should of cried racial profiling instead of rape.

She should have just gone to court and gotten it dismissed. If all that video evidence is admissible, no way a jury convicts her.

But she fricked up and needs to pay the price for the rape accusation.

When have I talked out my arse previously? This particular situation is something I was told by an employee of Entergy. I have no reason not to believe the guy.

She needs to be lecturing fellow inmates for the next 10 years or so.

Not only did she make a completely false accusation against that man, she defamed him. Malice in this case should be reeeaaalllll easy to prove.

He should sue her arse into oblivion.

I’m so sick of this.

New laws need to be introduced to be harsh on people making these false claims.

It’s just wrong to potentially ruin people’s lives. What if there had been no video?

Come on

The lawyer was lied to by the client. Not really his fault and he didn’t do anything wrong unless it turns out he got the civil rights race baiter involved.

Well he actually did get the civil rights race baiter involved as it turns out.

So the lawyer is kind of a piece of shite in his own right.

Well yeah, but it doesn't mean he should lose his license or be prosecuted like people keep saying.

Yea I know nothing of the law but I doubt there is anything the bar could or would do about it.

But it certainly isn’t helping his profession or cause to be making statements like he did and leaking to his friends in the press before he even looked at the footage.

That cop shining the flashlight in her eyes and telling her to follow the pen without moving her head for a full 3 minutes was ridiculous.

Actually the cop did that field sobriety exercise (Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus) about as well as you could ask. Most officers rush through it and don't do the correct number of passes for the right amount of time. They get to court and a knowledgeable defense attorney tears them up on the stand.
