Do you have a condo on the beach, in Destin, FL?

I was wondering the same thing. And does said condo, in Destin, have a balcony from which to view the gulf?

Did the pilot have a connection to the Clintons?

The desperate attempts at being funny in this thread are lame.

I'm hearing from my pilot friends based out of Lafayette that the plane was for the Lafayette attorney Bart Bernard. he was not on board, I have the name of the pilot that was flying but will not say who. he was based out of Lafayette too.

What kind of plane? I'm assuming this plane was arriving at or departing from the airport by Indian Bayou?

older model either Cessna 414 or 421. Two friends of mine who are based out of Lafayette has said in the past they would never fly that plane for any amount of money bc of the problems its always had. just sad.

I can confirm he had just taken off. other than that I guess we'll find out soon

I used to fly a 421. It's a piece of garbage. Very underpowered.

I am a pilot and have flown in this plane with this pilot about 8 times and you couldn't find a better safer pilot anywhere.

RIP Al.

Actually it's the Beechcraft Bonanza that's called doctor killers.

Same kinda plane that killed Buddy Holly et al.
