Hey, can we move Jesus' birthday, its way too cold during Christmas
Pretty sure the Romans already moved his birthday, to align(ish) with the winter solstice and Saturnalia.

He was probably born around September.

Thanks for fact check Dr. Landen.

One would think, but OP seems to be an outlier.

Hopefully OP is an outlier, or we fooked.

Redundant statement is redundant.

(OP probably does not know what Mardi means)

This has to be one of the most ignorant statements typed in the entire history of The OT.

I have been on this board since 2003 I tend to agree with you.

You would think with someone with over 7300 post knows this board and would do a little research before posting something so ignorant but I guess not.

Even if this is a troll, this should get you banned... You register in 2020, so you are at least 5 years old. I'm going to give ya a few years for learning how to walk and talk... Another couple for learning the language enough to form paragraphs and learning to type...

So you haven't learned about Mardi gras in your 13 years of life?

March and October are easily the nicest weather months of the year in Louisiana, IMO.

100% agree. Also, Christmas is way too close to New Years. It should be moved to September, so it isn't too close to Halloween or Thanksgiving and the weather is warmer.

Also, the Summer Solstice and Vernal Equinox have always bothered me, too. Let's address those, while we are at it.

You do know it falls on certain dates for a reason, don't you?

No....no you don't. It's obvious.

Let's just move Christmas to May, it's way too cold in December.

Initially, I thought your thread was a troll. Then, you posted the above. Did you not know that the date for Mardi Gras IS about Easter?

Yes, all sorts of drunkenness and debauchery goes so well with the death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
