The old saw is that these folks (and cross-fitters)always mention that they are in those groups.
But quite a few of them try NOT to mention it because people who have kids, are religious, eat meat, etc. will immediately start to question and challenge them. (That's not healthy, You don't know what you are missing, They're the greatest joy of my life, You should try our church, etc.)
The same people who will badger them to eat meat or have kids will say vegans/childless/etc. are "ramming it down our throats" if they so much as mention it.

It's a creepy sub. It oozes of insecurity. Not sure why, but if you don't like kids you don't need to put it on blast. If someone asks, sure, but some of them make threads wanting people to praise them because they hate kids.
I don't particularly like children either, but when someone asks me if my wife and I are going to have kids, I usually just hit them with a "not anytime soon." Because that's the truth. I don't want them at this second, but in 2-3 years, who knows? I don't feel like I'd be a good parent. Maybe when I feel like I can properly care for a child I'll give it a shot.
I have no disdain for those who don't want to have children. However, I do have disdain for those who have children because they felt like it's what they were supposed to do, or accidentally had a child and now they are treating it like it's an extension of themselves. Mostly because their parenting skills are reflected in their kids.

My daughter (30) is unmarried and without children. She seems miserable half the time. She suffers from depression and I often wonder if she had a partner in her life if she'd be a happier person.

Generally speaking, single women with no kids are terribly Unhappy. Psychologists for generations have confirmed this. The biological clock is a real thing.

In your 20’s and 30’s I think it’s pretty normal to get why having no kids is a lot more spontaneously fun and free. I think later on in life you start realizing that while traveling and boozing/socializing has its fun, at that point you could be experiencing the world with your children, which is amazing.
It usually goes “frick having kids”, “I’m never having kids”, “I doubt I’ll ever have kids”, “I dunno maybe one day”... then you either have kids or you don’t. Around age 45 you start realizing most normal people your age are spending their time with their kids while setting time aside to still do things like socializing and traveling.
The hardest thing is the first few years of putting your life and hobbies on hold while the kid grows up a little. It’s a sacrifice you have to make if you plan on being 65+ and watching your family grow and not be the weirdo at the bar everyday.
